The picture is very bad, but people in it are very good. They are the teachers from Christian primary schools in our Moulovibazar area. They have come to spend three days of training at the Mission compound. They are praying together, participating in meetings, listening to speeches, talking to each other... Let me tell you that they are really admirable people. Each one of them is in charge of a small school with a single classroom, normally without benches or desks, they care for children from 5 to 12 at the same time. They have to fight against the absenteeism of the children and the lack of motivation of their parents to send them to school. Against school failure. Against a very precarious wage condition. Almost against everything... And yet there they are, on the front line, with their little training and their much experience, with their fragile salary and their enormous goodwill. I have spoken with some of them during their free time and I find they are people of a great personal category. I'd like to be half as good as they are.
